The New and Improved Life of Caiden....

It's official...Caiden is growing up! He is almost 11 months old and has developed a personality of his own. It's amazing that just a few months ago his only form of communication was crying and his only form of transportation was my hip! Now he is moving like a mad man all over the house and finds ways to let us know exactly what he wants, whether it's screaming at us or hitting us until he gets our attention. By the way...he has a temper like no other! I didn't realize temper tantrums started so early!

Here's some new pictures of what Caiden is up to now...

Playing with the cats...24/7!!! The kid is in love with the cats and since he isn't around any other kids...they are his buddies and playmates! He jumps on them and hugs them any chance he can get. Oddly enough, they lay there and let him...for the most part. He also knows how to use their cat toy and chases them around the house until they stop what they are doing and play with him!

Caiden eats all day long! He is basically off baby food and bottles (for the most part) and loves to eat anything mommy and daddy are eating, even if he just devoured a huge meal! He also uses a sippy cup now and can usually be found double drinking!!!

(Yes, I'm aware of the holiday jammies...I know it's the end of January...I'm just trying to get my money's worth!)

Caiden is in love with water! His favorite time of day is bath time and he's constantly getting into trouble because he loves to lift the toilet seat and play in the water!


Laundry has become a fun experience around here as well. If he sees the laundry basket...he immediately gets in it and sits there waiting to be pushed around. If there's warm, clean laundry in it, he gets in and throws everything else out! It's a fun time! I get a kick out of it every time! =)

Of course, being outside is just an experience of it's own. He gets so excited and distracted with the sounds of the birds, the wind blowing, or just a leaf on the ground. It's also where he takes the best pictures! (In my opinion!)

The whole idea of this blog is to keep all of our family and friends updated on what is going on in our lives. Granite, for now that means anything involving Caiden since he is the center of our world. If there's anything else you would like to know or want us to post up on here...please let me know.
