For those who haven't heard, Chris got some incredible news last Friday! After a long 3 months of waiting, he was chosen as a 2010 Air Force Officer Pilot Select!
Here's some stats:
- There were 650 applicants during this board. 40 were given pilot positions.
- There were only 2 people were selected for OTS in the state of NY.
- Chris was the only PILOT chosen in NY.
We will keep you updated on what's to come. For now, all we know is that he gets sworn in on Thursday and then he will be able to schedule his big Flight Physical. If he passes that, then he will just await orders to start this whole process! =) Unfortunately, the wait can be as long as 2 years...but, I think we all agree that the wait is definitely worth it! =)
